About Astoria
HI Lacquer Lovers,
My name is Astoria, a certified Makeup Artist , nail technician, brow technician and the owner and operator of Lacquered on Location.
After getting my BBA, in 2014, I tried to find fulfilling careers in Hospitality and Financial Industry but nothing seemed to stick. After years of promotions and job alterations I decided something had to give.
I had always loved makeup, ask the lady’s at MAC on Front Street :) , and had tried my hand at offering manicures and pedicures for Christmas gifts since I was 13 years old.
In 2017, knowing I needed a change, I saved, committed and worked 3 jobs to send myself to Toronto, Canada for the latter part of the year to several different beauty certificate at different Beauty schools.
Since starting Lacquered on Location in 2017 the Lacquered brand and offerings have grown. With Lacquered Lounge opening in January 2020 and Lacquered on Location services being featured in professional photoshoots and events with BSOA, Bermuda Fashion Festival Fashion Shows, Cassine, Daughters of Summer and the Bermuda Tourism Authority!
Lacquered was born from a love and passion for all things beauty and a desire to do something that I truly love!
After 2 years of operation I continue to learn and love the Beauty Industry and expand the retail and service offerings at Lacquered with compassion for my clients and the Environment in mind!
